Does a Vault Pro fit?

Qantas allows up to 99 linear inches; the Vault Pro is 102 in, 3 in over it, so expect an oversize charge or a refusal at the counter. The weight limit is 70 lb. Packed with a 17 lb bike the Vault Pro is about 48 lb, inside it; gear packed around the bike adds to that. No bike surcharge — each item counts as one piece of your checked allowance, and charges start only once you exceed that allowance. Qantas bike policy, checked 2026-08-22.

Airlines change these rules, sometimes without notice, and fares and routes can carry their own. Check Qantas’s page before you book and again before you fly.
